A 4-H Discovery Project for 6 - 8 year olds

"A 4-H Discovery Project for 6 - 8 year olds!"
Who can be a 4-H Cloverbud?
BC
4-H Cloverbud members are boys and girls aged 6 - 8 years old. They
must have reached their 6th birthday and have not reached their 9th
birthday by January 1st. BC 4-H Cloverbud age members are only allowed
to be registered in the Cloverbud project and are not eligible to
be enrolled in any other BC 4-H projects. The Cloverbud units are
very busy with fun filled activities that explore future projects
of 4-H. Cloverbuds can choose to enroll in one of the three BC Cloverbud
units.
What are the Cloverbud units?

The Cloverbud project is a minimum of six months per unit and
a Cloverbud member may only be registered in one Cloverbud unit
per year.
How can you add Cloverbud to your club or district?
Cloverbuds can be enrolled in any club that is offering to run
a Cloverbud unit. Each unit has a corresponding leaders guide that
is easy to plan your Cloverbud unit work. The following are some
suggestions to get Cloverbuds into your club or district:
- Have a Cloverbud Project Leader for your club.
- Junior Leader Project for Senior 4-H Member (strongly suggested
that Cloverbud unit runs a separate time from your other club
activities)
- A Cloverbud club could be a separate enrolled 4-H club
and could act as a "feeder
club" for your district as the Cloverbuds move to Junior 4-H members.
All Cloverbud members are registered 4-H members and must complete the
club registration process. Cloverbud members are assessed the current
year's club registration fees.
Please Note:
Children who have not been properly registered in a recognized
BC 4-H project are not 4-H members and are, therefore, not allowed
to participate as 4-H members at district, regional or provincial events,
are not eligible for 4-H badges, certificates, etc.; and ARE NOT covered
by BC 4-H's insurance.
