Box Back Program

Merial Canada is pleased to announce the continuation of its IVOMEC & EPRINEX BoxBack fundraising program in conjunction with the Canadian 4-H Council. Merial will donate ten dollars to the local 4-H Club for each box label of eligible IVOMEC Pour-On or EPRINEX Pour-On returned through the program. 4-H members are encouraged to cut out a specified section of the cardboard packaging (after the contents have been used) and submit it to Merial. The program runs until February 28, 2013. See the links below for more information:

Since its inception, the IVOMEC & EPRINEX Jug Recycling Program has diverted over 11 tons of Merial plastic Pour-On containers from landfills to recycling facilities, and resulted in over $190,000 in refunds and donations. This recycled plastic will instead become durable plastic fence posts. Now, the IVOMEC & EPRINEX 4-H BoxBack Program continues this tradition of community leadership and product stewardship for Merial Canada.

Next Steps to Successful Fundraising

Brew a Cup - Shuswap Coffee Company

Shuswap Coffee Company is a family owned and operated speciality roaster.  Their coffee is roasted in small batches, in Salmon Arm, BC.  They are Certified Organic, Licensed Fairtrade and roast only Arabica Coffee. Shuswap Coffee Company support women's cooperatives, Café Femenino, in Central/South America, with 80% of their beans coming from these growers. Shuswap Coffee Company's pay-it-forward fund supports women and families in their own community as well as internationally!

This is a great opportunity for 4-H BC clubs to support a local company that is associated with a social program that aligns it self with a pay it forward program.

For every pound of coffee that your club sells, your club will earn $4 per pound for the fundraising goals.

Leaders: If your club is interested in this fundraiser, please see the secure pages for more information.
