In the Rabbit project, members will learn the parts of a rabbit, general health, showmanship and care. Basic feeding and husbandry skills will be acquired, with attention to animal welfare. Members will also demonstrate proper showmanship technique on achievement day. The rabbit project includes breeding stock of commercial, fancy and wool types, doe with litter, market rabbit and marketable rabbit raising.
