The goat project involves members caring for, judging, grooming, clipping and showing their animal. Basic feeding and husbandry skills will be acquired, with attention to animal welfare. Members will also demonstrate proper showmanship technique on achievement day. Members choose between market, breeding, pack goat or pygmy goat projects.
