The dairy project involves members caring for, judging, grooming, clipping and showing their animal. Basic feeding and husbandry skills will be acquired, with attention to animal welfare. Members will also demonstrate proper showmanship technique on achievement day. Projects include heifer calf, yearling heifer, two-year-old cow, dairy herd and pasture/forage management.
