Cloverbuds is a "discovery project" for 6-8 year olds who wish to be involved in 4-H. There are three units in the Cloverbuds program, one for each of the 3 years, and together they briefly touch on the most popular 4-H projects. Year one includes outdoor living, beef, honeybee, horticulture, poultry, sheep and home safety. Year two includes rabbit, foods, small engines, llama, crafts, dairy and farm safety. Year three includes photography, swine, horse, goat, dog and bicycle safety. Years one through three do not have to go in that particular order, as leaders may choose which year they would like to work on with their club.
